As a full service avionics shop that specializes in piston planes for the general aviation community we are extremely proud of the results we have created for our customers to fit their unique mission and needs.
Aerosecure is led by Richard O. Snider Jr. a veteran of the U.S. Army, and Arizona Army National Guard. Richard comes from a family steeped in Military tradition and history with multi- consecutive generations of West Pointers. He is also a third generation military fighter pilot who is preceded by his Grandfather U.S. Air Force Colonel Albert Snider an Air Force Fixed Wing Fighter Pilot; his Father U.S. Army Major Richard O. Snider a U.S. Army Attack Helicopter pilot. Richard’s career in the military started as an Avionics, Electrical, and Armament technician on Rotary wing aircraft and quickly progressed to acceptance to and completion of the Warrant Officer Candidate School program and Rotary Wing Flight School at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. Richard flew the AH-64A Apache and the AH-64D Apache Longbow Attack helicopters for the remainder of his career. He has also expanded his aviation experience while working at Boeing Aerospace, and at MD Light helicopters in the field of Avionics. Through his experiences at these organizations and most notably while transitioning from the AH-64A Apache an analog weapons platform to the AH-64D Longbow a Digital command and control weapons platform did he see the significant advantages of advanced avionics. Richard states that, “Our namesake Aerosecure, comes from the idea that we can greatly enhance safety, and situational awareness by the professional installation of advanced digital avionics that were previously unaffordable to many aircraft owners”. “Commercial Aviation enjoys an unprecedented safety record that affords millions of people safe and efficient travel world wide, and I believe through proper training and the right equipment General Aviation can enjoy nearly that same record.”
